Why a Reborn Baby?
I had created maybe 4 dolls, when a client asked if I could replicate a photo. I told her I could. So far, Portrait dolls are one of my favorite babies to do. I find it such a challenge, and also very rewarding. To be allowed to recreate someone's child in this art form is so very special and such a honor!

This was my very first portrait doll. She turned out so good. my friend commissioned me to make a portrait doll for a friend of hers. The mom was thrilled.
This was my first baby of color. I am so proud that he turned out so well. It was only after I got this baby done, that I found out that the darker colors are hard to do. So I am very happy to get that beautiful dk brown sugar skin so beautiful. I learned a lot and am so glad I was allowed to bring this baby to life.
This was a very hard kit to find. I probably went through 1500 kits to find the one that looked just this Momma's baby. I was very happy when she cried and couldn't believe he looked just like her son!
